regarding weighing equipment i've spoken to a firm that does the callibration of all our silo load cells etc and they're looking into it, doesn't look promising though. they say they know of a firm that rents the equipment out but that'd mean paying and you know how tight us Yorkies are

Agree with Ad, split 20 ways it should be cheap enough even for a Yorkie. Or have I seriously misjudged the average Yorkie?

I vote we need Paz to run. Paz has a well maintained car which is most importantly stock in the power dept. I can't think of a better way to start the day than to have a stock B5 S4 on the rollers (I know there are not just S4's attending) to see how the power at the wheels and engine power figures look. A straight 50:50 split centre torsen diff with power low enough there will not be any mistique around the numbers because of slip of power split. It would be a great ~benchmark and really give the numbers some meaning.

So Paz are you up for it? David, do you think it can happen (not literally first perhaps)?

GrahamS4 wrote: David - if I may add myself to the reserves list please (on the condition I assume we get power, torque, boost and lamda plots).

David - can I confirm what plots we will be getting? Power vs torque, power vs boost (they may need a supply of small cable ties to reattach DV vacum pipes), power vs lamda etc?

Also I know I would prefer my plots, if I should get to run, to be power at the wheels, are we going to stanardise one way or the other on the day, leave it to the individual or are both going to be avilable?

The answer I have back is yes to all three, but feel free to contact them for examples etc. and post your findings here.

Decent idea, but no, it can't really. Paz would need to be at the bottom of the reserve list as those who paid before him & the reserves must run before him. Sorry, but we have to be fair to everyone based on the commitment they have made, unless you guys agree to change it.

That's fair David. Was just a thought, just looks like we don't have any stock cars on the list. The justification of figures can be more imaginative at least :D

After much deliberation (thanks Graham) I'd like to add myself to the list of reserves if I may, DavidT do I need to pay in advance or on the day?

My car has a standard map and exhaust but it does have RS4 IC's, APR Bi-pipe and an oil cooler.
