Cool.

Remembered today that the guy I meant was called Adie Bryars (or Bryers?) anyone know what happened to him? By all accounts that RS made the Diablo on the event look slow

For anyone interested, I've just bought some insurance for the day.
Went with Chris Yemm @ Eggar Lawson again.

£173 for £11000 cover and £1600 excess.

A small price to pay for peace of mind

If you are don't forget to ring them and set it up.

Somebody knows there bikes, yes its a Honda RC45, havent managed to get one yet but will see ( rare and expensive to find in good condition, just like rs4's). have an NC35 only a 400cc but identical to the RC45 except for headlights and 350cc less.Good track day bike and so cheap to ensure on road as only a dry weather play thing. Got a R32 and a 2.5tdi quattro A4 avant will be at oulton in the R32 or maybe the tdi would be better???

Have you removed the restrictor in the speedo?
Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

Yep, just disconnect the speedo!!!!. Restrictor comes in a bout 120mph bike only does just about 125mph with me on it. ( 6ft2" 13 stone) cloked against GSXR and R1. So doesnt make much difference so either disconnect speedo for track day or stay under 120 on road and save £55 on a de-restictor

restrictor can be immobilised by undoing speedo and bending back small arm inside

If you haven't already done it change the exhaust which should be good for at least another 5 mph and will also release the sound of that lurvely V4....Mmmmmmmmm....nice!(standard exhaust sounds pants!) Had 145 out of my last 400 down the A19 last summer.
