Wow that second pic up Eau Rouge is an awesome shot. Looking forward to catching up with everyone at ADI, shame the weather won't be as warm as it was last weekend

What an awesome couple of days!

Great to meet so many members there not to mention the occasional speed comparison with the odd RS4 Avant
Seeing those Clios and that GTR on track was again a sheer delight.

I thoroughly enjoyed the wet weather despite my initial fears, my RS4 just took it all in it's stride. Even 1st gear round the chicane before the F1 Start/Finish couldn't produce much of slide. It just had so much grip.

I will post up some photos once uploaded to my Facebook page :)

All the best,
Darren

Another awesome Spa trip.

It was great to meet up with the old faces and to meet new ones as always, good to see the cars being used for what they was designed for.

We was unfortunate with the weather this year as we was spoilt the past 2 years. We had heavy rain for 2 days, but a dry line did form a few times when there was a brake in the weather. You can say the rain was a bad thing, however what it did, it made us drivers learn how to drive in the wet on track, this is not always a bad thing. At the end of the day there was a lot of us who enjoyed the wet weather experience.

I was faffing about on the Clio, I had to change my cars settings to suit the wet, I removed the RARB, changed tyre pressures, wheel/tyres and softened coilovers...this did the trick and made the car much more fun. I did spin it more times than a spinny thing in the wet.

There are pics and vids, so they will be up soon.

Thanks to all those who made the effort Paulrs4 (Dad), Lynn, Kev (Sync24)the rev (aka Blue flag)..(sorry mate that's your new knick name lol), Philt and Paul (W8PMC), SteveRS4, Glen and the Revo groupies, RSsinclare, iluvmercs , DK, Nudenut (R8 Mafia) and anyone else who I have forgotten to mention from 'this' forum.

Also thanks Glen (Revolution) for helping me in the pics with the brake bleeding and wheel changes

A very big thank you to PhilT for buying all the photos of all the forum cars on track and the last meal, top bloke..you see he does love us ;)

p.s Forgot to mention by J Clarkson was testing the new P1 there yesterday...(for those who are interested.

Roll on next year

Can't really add much to what's been said above. The trip was truly EPIC (quoting Blue Flag);)

So many great memories. Thanks to PhilT for inviting me & for the rest of the RS246 clan for allowing an ex RS owner to join the group.

Defo gonna book on for 2014 & try the new M5 out at Spa.

I took a few piccies from the pit wall so will have a look through them early next week & upload them to dropbox. Feel free download & if any you particularly fancy, drop me a line & i'll email the originals.

Good two days.....

Nice to mix the old heavy S4 with race, trackday and lighter motors.... The wet showed who could drive and who just had the power, nice to be able to show the high powered/track dedicated/lighter cars how to drive correctly in the wet ;-)

Glad I didnt take the Lambo, 911 Turbo or Radical, how boring would that have been Lol....

Till next time.

To be fair Kev did very well, first time on Spa in a 1700kg with 2 up, it was the blue flags that saved me ;) hehe
