Cars came and went, was thinking of leaving and more turned up, stayed until about 9:30 ish I think, probably 12 throughout the tonight? Seems people are also cottoning onto the Audi night even if they are not on the two forums which is a good thing. If anyone asked I mentioned RS246 and 'the other one'! Hope Kevin and Mark in an Avus RS4 saloon (local to me in Bedfordshire) got home okay - M1 was shut last night junction 10. Had a good drive home myself - stuck a long sleeve top on before I left and drove the entire way home with all the windows down. As you mentioned in your post the other day, got to make the most of the amazing weather, was showing 20.5 C even at 22:30! Also got a little carried away in the Hatfield tunnel.....

Not a bad turn-out matey, considering that there's plenty of folk away at the moment.

Reckon we should start to see the numbers rise as we get into Autumn etc.
Also, the gayers are all in Spa at the moment, so that's a few down.

Hatfield Tunnel is great.... if you're lucky and "hit it right". Not sure about those weird blueish lights they've installed, though.

Gonna be a no show for me this month I'm afraid guys, still go insurance issues, so my baby is tucked away safely until that's sorted, have a good one, and as usual pics are expected!!

P.S I had an email asking us to confirm the same Sunday spot for 2012, what's the general consensus on this? As up till now the turnouts have been poor-average, and I think to keep our slot we really need strong numbers if this is going to continue through 2012

Enjoyable evening, good to meet some new faces too. Impromptu drive back around north circular with brace of B5 S4 Avants.

Too much traffic around on way home to let rip through Hatfield tunnel, so I made up for it on the Bedford bypass after leaving the A1 at Black Cat.

PS. 6pm suits me fine - absolutely perfect timing on the Sundays I'm working until 5pm. Good for Sunday 4th December, not sure what we will do on Sunday 1st January mind.....
