Well I'm certainly very much looking forward to it :beerchug:

Just a reminder about green cards (although Bell Direct Ddn't issues these any more as the cover is on the reverse side of the insurance doscument) and passport and helmet. Apart from cash / credit cards / camera is there anything else I've forgotten?

Well, there's France-England on saturday evening 20:45 GMT+1.

We booked a whole room with a large screen at the hotel as the club has several huge rugby fans, so you may want to bring your supporter's kits (flag, drums, horns, fireworks, cheerleaders, etc.)
And warm beer too

Just to have a rough idea, are u all travelling as a group ?

If so could u give me a brief ETA to Le Mans and also your itinerary so I can try to catch up on the way down.

Eric our crossing is 10am GMT so 1 hour ahead crossing time is 40 minutes or so so i reckon 12 midday from Calais, and 4 hours drive so 4-30 arrival time.
Cheers

Hehe, the good old valiant Passat trying to keep 230km/h on the way to the Ring. What a memory :-)

We'll have a major group leaving the AudiPassion boutique from Versailles (30km west of Paris) on Saturday 2pm GMT+1. If u're getting closed to Paris at that time, gimme a ring and we can catch up at the Saint-Arnoult Toll station (the massive one 40km right south of Paris, on the way to Le Mans).
The Imola Babe will be Safety Car equipped on the way done, if u see one getting full speed through the toll with strobs, flashers and sirens on, it's me :D

Last one, please beware of the speed traps. Things have REALLY changed since your last trip to Le Mans. U can get impounded on the spot now and the tolerance is below 5km/h above limit. Do NOT give your driving license, just say you forgot it in UK (it's a less penalty, at least for French ppl, as they can't confiscate it on the spot).

Oh and if u see a Porsche 996 RUF Turbo R (520hp, only 10 made) on the way down, it's one of the surprise cars to attend.
