eric you were not alone in the traffic i caught it as well going back to london no fun m1+m25 in the rs apart from seeing eastenders in the tailbacks,but i dont think it was the highlight of the day.

I came off at the A43 (Northampton) went down towards Towcester for the A5 - that wasn't moving either [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
So I went back to the A43 and used the A413 to Buckingham, A418 to Aylesbury, then a blat down the A41 back to Hemel.
It was good fun in the end [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Sorry to have missed watching you guys in action - sounds like everyone had a great time. Had to work on Sunday - at the Thistle East Midlands to add insult to injury!

Sorry some of you ran in to traffic on the way home - I went back down A14/M11 - only added about 14 miles to the journey and we kept moving at a good speed all the way home. Only hold up was over QE2 bridge.

sounds like i did the right thing getting off the M1 as soon as i got on it! had a feeling it was jamming up so set the sat nav to detour for 20 mile, and it took me clear of all of it.
