Oh, my wife has just reminded me of this gem too.... that when my car was in for its GB replacement, they put me in a nice Q7 as i was off to Cornwall for 2 weeks holiday with my Family- only to recieve a call one week in, asking me to return the Q7 as "a high status customer has requested a Q7 as a courtesy car and will not go in anything else" AND I RETURNED IT!!! AT MY EXPENSE!!!! What the <beep> was i thinking of????

How about this one too- (God I wish i hadn't started this!!) Left my car with 1/4 tank of 99 in it. went in for some DRC diagnosis. They fitted new DRC under warranty and then charged me £25 for £20 worth of Petrol because they used 1/4 tank on a test drive & had to put some in....... When I queried this, i was told, it was basically a fiver for the priveilge of them putting fuel in my car. And it was 95.

Anyhoo, as long as you stick to the salesmen you should be ok, Ben as mentioned was great, and actually Helen on the service desk was nice too, just beware of the blond spikey haired cock.
It's all Bollox.
Half of what you read is bull and the other half is all <beep>.

No worries Dave ;)

I know a guy with an S2, He wandered into his local centre to get some bits and pieces for it, The guy he spoke to said "They didn't make one". My mate had to take him outside to show him what one looked like !!!

Could be a great little collection of cars here, not what they'd normally see either...tuned, enhanced and wide-bodied!

Thanks for the heads up Mooch, that has totally put me off now. I cannot stand bad customer service, in fact your experience deserves a separate thread all together. In my experience all Audi service teams have lied, broken things and showed poor brand knowledge. I'll trust them to do a service on my car, but nothing else. In fact, I didn't even take my centre up on their free MOT offer as I knew they would probably break something, I paid for it at a local garage instead. I think us lot should only go if Andrew Stevens apologises or gets the sack, what a joke. What is even worse is, that beacuse my car is an S8, apparently only master techs are allowed to work on them. Every other model gets a standard tech, so god knows how sh*t your techs must be.

Hi - I'll be coming along for a look see. Would like to go ahead for all the of the free services too, as I have had it 11 days and just blown a coil, normal I hear, but would still like them to tell me what they can. Without trying to sell me an on the spot 800 quid service or something, lol... Don't think mine is up to line-up standard. Might tag along for the test drive course thingy tho. Cheers.
