Excellent location for the stand and quick access to queue up for the track.
By the way I have a Noggy B5 'S4' avant not RS4 unfortunately

That's really good news. I shall look forward to seeing you there. I will be with Dialynx but will try to divide my time equitably if there's room on the RS246 pitch.

If anyone else is going to book for the meal make sure you do what Phil says and ask to speak to Sally and get put on the right table. If you don't say where you want to sit you might end up with some boring sales team from a dealership. I speak from experience of a few years ago!!!

Any more info about what time we would need to be on the stand as Simple1 mentioned? He also mentioned photos. Are these official photos? I like the idea, but it probably means we need to be there even earlier to wipe the cars down and get them looking suitable for a photoshoot.

I'm still thinking about this one. Also not keen on too many un-like minded people potentially brushing past my car.

In preperation for the early start on the Saturday I've booked myself, wife and one daughter into the Swindon Hilton for the Friday night. Cost was £86 which we paid with Tesco vouchers so only actually about £22

I then realise that the Hilton is about 40 miles from Castle Combe so only halved our journey distance and could have stayed somewhere closer... Oh well at least it the faster motorway part of the journey... Anyone else staying there the night before?

Really looking forward to it now

We're planning to stay athe Hilton Kensignton...even further away! We're seeing a show in London on the Friday evening hence our choice! Then a whizz along the M4 on Saturday morning.

Swindon Hilton to Castle Combe isn't 40 miles. It should only take you about 20-25minutes. 1 junction along the M4 and then round the edge of Chippenham. Its a nice hotel though and at that price, good value

Oh yes. Just checked on TomTom. Less than 20 miles... Must have entered a wrong post code the other day

Great. It's a treat for our 4 year old to stay in a posh hotel without her baby sister cramping her style

Hi Graham,

We can arrive from 7am but they expect all cars in place by 08:30.

There is an official photographer at CC, I will post details in another thread shortly. Our cars will not be 'officially' photographed for Audi Driver though.
