So calculation of cost is roughly:

Ferry - £89
Track - 110€
Hotel - 100€
Fuel (France) - £150
Extras - £100

Total = £500

I'd really like to do this for the following reasons:

1. For the people who prefer this to the 'Stag weekend before'
2. It's Le Mans
3. Support Eric and Audi Passion

The only problem I see is getting everyone to confirm by the 28th. I'm off to Chicago tomorrow for the week.

I only really want to go if there are a number of people, and we can make it a bit of a Stag weekend.

Just a quick reminder for the deadline to get the special 160€ fee : it's 28th February (not Jan).

For the lodging, we have two guys at AudiPassion who usually do a good job to find a decent/reasonnable hotel with a locked parking lot. I don't expect an answer/offer before one week though (both on vacations).

Lodging : things are in motion through the AP guys this morning. One criteria is proper parking lot so all the cars (including trailers) can be "secured".
We have three cops within the AP members (Gendarmerie Nationale actually) so we may get some local patrol visits during the night (and more, TBD). Risks are minimal for such large group but we'd rather take none.

Please note that the name and location of lodging are traditionnally not posted on the AP forums (communicated by mail/pm).

Lodging dates : should we aim at Saturday and Sunday nights in Le Mans ?

We know well (some from personal, unfortunate experience) of the French criminal underclass penchant for RS4's, and of the dastardly methods they employ to lay their evil, serpentine hands on our chosen, legally obtained means of conveyance [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
