Am I to assume that the preferred route is via Cherbourg rather than Calais?

Preferred route is normally Caen or Cherbourg BUT alot of crossing's do not start till 1st April.
Can everyone hold down their bacon butties for the 5 hours if the going gets rough?

Dover Calais is probably safer but adds 3-4 hours of "spirited " driving

OK, sorry for being late on my part to confirm the event by Audi-Passion.

IT IS CONFIRMED AT 100% !!!

In a few words (pending a full translation in English or should we be afficionados to the point of Quattro GmbH at the Challenge RS Hockenheim and keep it native ? [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]) :

1. The event is on Sunday March 28th

2. Price will range from 160€ (club members booking/paying at least 1 month in advance: Feb 28) to 250 € (non-members registering on site).
TBD for rs246 UK/DE guests but I can't post it officially yet.
Plus 25€ for hot lunch seated.

3. An instructor from the Audi Quattro Training Course will be available for on-board advice.

4. Accomodation in the pipe, TBD.

At least five S6+ should participate and about one RS4 so far (me , plus a whole bunch of usual culprits (S3, TT, S4, etc.) so RS4 reinforcements are more than welcome.

For those interested, please send me a pm so I can start putting things in motion.
