There's a couple of points in Thorneys posts that I'd take issue with and I have IM'ed him regarding this.

The post wasn't made here as you don't have a TT forum and the day is for members of the TT owners club and I didn't expect to find any TT owners here. TT-forum, Audi-sport.net and tyresmoke.net all have TT areas and hence the posts were made there.

Membership of the TTOC is available at the discretion of the commitee so it's simply not a case of pay the money and it's guaranteed although I hope all applications will be positively considered (N.B. I'm not on the commitee so I have no say in this)

Sorry I got it wrong (despite what I was actually told).

I'm now told the NSPCC thing is wrong too (despite being told this by chairman of TTOC).

I give up.

Only thing to do is go on the TT-Forum and ask for the details there.....I promise not to try and answer.

The confusion regarding the NSPCC seems to be just semantics.

It looks like we can run this with the minimal fee of £10 to cover the compulsory instructors costs. What we will do is charge everyone the same (I'm surprised any one would think that we'd do anything else [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]) and any remaining money will go to the NSPCC.

It's always impossible to price exactly and divide the costs to the nearest penny so this seem like the best way forward.

Only just saw this thread - can't make the trackday unfortunately as have to be in London which is a real pain.
I do however live not a million miles from Oulton so if you are staying somewhere around here Sunday night and are meeting up let me know and I'll come and have a beer with you.

The TTOC forum has been hacked and a lot of the posts lost [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] Apparently the hackers think all TT owners are Gay Fags! I have reentered the relevant details but the list of attendees is missing. This obviously won't affect the day.
