Warning : there's a second entry form to use (just got it from Mr Straube) and it seems they expect payment as the time of the subscription.
I've sent the file to PhilT so he can choose how/whether to post both of them or just one (don't want to confuse with double-posting of forms).

I've fixed the link on the entry form. I haven't posted the second form, as it appears to have a unique number for each entry. Maybe we could do a group payment to get this done cheaper.

I knew this would happen, due to lasts years hold up on paying...... Funny thing is we all wanted to pay cash on the day, but Audi said no no no we send the bill, yeah why should we pay £15 extra to transfer the money!
Just my

Maybe they just don't want us to go

Hehe...

But I'm sure Oliver is keen to have more people from Int'l, otherwise he wouldn't have mentionned the 20 places left (far easier to say "too late" in a few weeks).

Also I doubt they'd refuse the principle of a firm "UK group buy" with a single payment.

just got my rs4,never done a track day yet,is this for me?
i would be interested in doing this or canonball run 2 but not sure if i am competative enough to go on a track with you lot in a standard rs4.
a friend of mine did the canonball last year and said he would do it again this year with me,but advised me against doing it in my new rs as he took his cossy last time and gained a lot of stone chips and trashed his gearbox.not too bad in a cheap car but would not want to abuse the rs too much.
by the way his cossy is aprox 520 bhp and 2 wheel drive.

Post by cosworth27T » Fri Aug 22, 2003 5:54 am

I was reading the instructions, and I don't what is meant by "don't forget your towing eye"

I've never towed my RS4, so can someone help me out?

I think it's the "ring" you need to screw in front of your car when you want to pull it with a cable (the rear is fixed and beneath the spoiler), it should be in the repair kit in the trunk.

Then they want drivers to have them on during race, for faster emergency exit.

James I'm doing the Cannonball this year and I reckon fitting armourfend before going should keep the damage to a minimum Jon is doing the 2 day version in his RS4 (CRE is a full 5 days)

The drivers challenge is less of a track day really and you only get two sessions on track so its more of a social event so would fit quite well if its a first time.

Can someone do me a favour and fax me the entry form? For some reason I can't open the doc and it crashes my PC

Fax number is 01494 730 880 cheers in advance.

I have converted the document to RTF (Rich Text Format), I think the problem was Word saving the file in a non-backward compatible format. Would be surprised if it actually 'crashed' a machine though.... What you running Windows 3.0 and Word 2.0?!?!?
