They have public driving event. I'm going x1 25 min session at end of day.

I'm definitely itching to do spa! I'm doing the ring (TF) with Toyneg again some time in April so will probably stay a bit longer and see if I can combine it with a Spa track day.

Yep can use it in a swift (and I plan to as I rented one for 10 or so laps last year and they're great fun!)

Break even for me is 74-75 laps. I did 55 laps last year so one extra trip this year and I should break even. I think the prices have gone up now though (I managed to get it at last years prices still by ordering in Jan). If you're quick, you might still get last years prices.

It's not going to ever get cheaper, so I took the view that it's now or never - even if just to say I'd had one Do it!

In March I'm staying at my usual haunt, Foxhole Guesthouse. I've stayed in several places in and around the ring over the years, and keep coming back here (mostly for the quieter nights as it generally doesn't have the pissed up shennigans of Nurburg itself, like you get at Hotel Burgstube (where I do still stay with a large group who like it there).

Ross - Not that I'd believe anyone here would do such a thing but because it's posted on the big wide web where anyone can see it I'd consider removing your card number from the pic, just so there's not that situation where you find there's 5 of "you" all driving around with the same card number but different pics!

I'm assuming it's just a plastic card with no security etc from the pic.

It is - but it's not the card that you use to get access - the card shown is matched to an RFID fob that is the thing that's actually used to get access. The card is only to validate the person using the fob is the person allowed to. (IE, I don't lend you the fob. If stopped, you (borrowing the fob) need to show photo id (this card) that it's yours - and the fob's ID and the card ID must match. So you'd be in trouble!) Thanks for thinking of it though

I did a track day with DSK last year, it was very well run, closed circuit and most importantly not that expensive.
It's was sessions with four sessions per morning and further four in afternoon, 160 cars max per session.
Was €380 for day or €180 for half day.

Those are my confirmed dates that's I'm booked on.

The July one is getting difficult to book as it's WEC that weekend. Most hotels are sold out already.

Will gladly do more if you guys want.

DK - are you talking about a trackday or TF at the ring? I'm guessing a trackday as you've put a price. Never done one there. Might be interesting.

Bugger I've managed to pick a weekend completely out of kilter! I'll be there May 6/7/8 hopefully. TF days all day sat and sun.
