Yes I'll look out for you too, you will notice mine for a mile off with the RS3 grill and no plate at the front

Hope you have a good day at Wilton, the weather is great today, I've seen some pictures already of today and a bit mad I couldn't make it.

Hi Ryan,

You missed a cracking day! Weather was better than expected (managed to get my head a bit sunburnt!) and there was plenty to see - a bargain for the £20 entrance fee in my opinion. Saw so many amazing cars...how the other half live eh! Anyway I would definitely recommend it for next year - if you like nice cars then it's a brilliant day out.

I took a load of photos (more than intended) so I'll post a link up so you can see what you missed...

Cheers...Sevy

Ok, so as I mentioned in my post above, had a great day yesterday at Wilton House. For those that have not been, I'd definitely recommend it. Seemed to be very well organised, plenty to see (even for youngish kids) for only £20 entrance fee, and with over 150 supercars parked on the lawn (plus many many more parked in the car parks that you can just wander round) it's a petrolhead's heaven!

Saw a couple of forum members cars in the PH car park, just to give them a 'Spotters' mention:
toyneg - Loving the stealth look of your all black RS4 - shame it got covered in a lot of dust on the way in (as did most of the cars it seems). There was another black RS4 saloon parked next to you but I didn't recognise it - was it anyone on here?
DK - Elvis was looking stunning parked up in the sun - he was definitely getting a fair bit of attention from passers by.

I took loads of photos - they're not top quality but they should give the general idea of what was there to see so I've added a link to my album on photobucket...hopefully it'll work:

A couple of my 'favourites' from the day...

This was the best looking car in my opinion - the new McLaren 570S:

And the car that impressed me most overall - the Koenigsegg One:1 with its 1360bhp weighing 1360kg and entire carbon fibre body:

Hi Sevy, awesome day wasn't it, you were certainly right about that dust, i had spent 2 hours cleaning it the day before and that dusty track ruined it all in 5 mins :(

the other RS4 was a guy i met called Tom from Bournemouth, we both convoyed down from Winchester with a load of supercars, including that green Aventador Roadster and the Yellow Pagani :)

glad you had a great time!

Hi mate - glad you had a good day too! Bet that convoy down was good fun - sadly I didn't meet any exotica on my way down although I did end up sat behind a GTR all the way back into Salisbury after the event. Ok it wasn't a supercar as such but it sounded good!

Yeah that dust was a bitch - I managed to avoid most of it on the way in which is good as I'd had the car detailed on Friday, but after coming back along that dusty track at the end of the day my car is filthy again!

I'm already looking forward to going again next year, although I notice they have a Supercars Wilton Wake Up on 26th July and then a Performance Cars Wake Up on 27th Sept...either of which might tempt me... :D

Thanks Ryan - glad you loked the photos...

Yeah it was an awesome day with so many amazing cars...it leaves me wondering how so many people can afford them. Never likely to happen for me without a lottery win, but it's still good to look at other people's supercars!

Yes hopefully we'll manage to meet up another time...as posted above I might be tempted with one of the Wilton Wake Up dates and if I can pull my finger out will maybe try to organise a local-ish meet later in the year...

Cheers...
