My moneys on Sean especially torque......
DOH!
Nearly, JohnRS4 managed 1nM more on the rollers, 594nM on mine 595nM on Johns.
John number one on the power as well, 492 against my 478.
Mine was a bit down today, need to look at the ignition timing a bit more to take advantage of the water injection.

The figures I got today were almost identical to figures I got at AMD a month ago. This time 248 bhp and 288 lb/ft (then 251 bhp and 290 lb/ft) - which seems par the course with REVO on mine amd Simons old S3 over several different RR sessions - good torque but low bhp.

I also got a run in stock mode, which produced 228 bhp, so at least my car is healthy in stock form.

Overall a nice relaxed day with great weather and good company.

Cheers Prawn for organising this

PS you did say £50 refunded if you buy something from Kim over a grand right? :)

Thanks for organising it Sean....

Some shocking results (both good and bad !) Mine made 357BHP & 529Nm....which is a bit down on what AmD had on their road.....I think a lot of it was down to having filled up with normal unleaded rather than Optimax and Millers...

I'll go back in the New Year and try again.

Another great RS246.com day out. Thanks for organising this Prawn and great to see the usual folks again.

my RS4 performed well on the rollers today - very well indeed considering it hasn't been remapped yet but has a QST exhaust. 392 BHP and 435nm (325lb-ish) of torque on the first run and 402 BHP and 455 (330lb-ish) of torque on the second run - with my car running on Optimax. :)

Now for a remap!
M3 CSL - Silver Grey, a few options.

I've just looked at the AmD rolling road for my car from when the K04 conversion was done and it was 395BHP and 473 lb/ft (641 Nm) so...I'm down 38 BHP and 112 Nm (82 lb/ft). Sounds too much for running Unleaded.....no faults in VAG-Com either.

Big thanks to Prawn for organising the day. It was good to see you all again
That will cheer John up, he was supposed to be putting out 504 bhp
Simon :bigblink: , it did make me happy because I always look at the engine power (don't ask me why) which was 502 bhp :jump:

Thanks again, hope to see you all soon and a Happy Christmas and New Year to those of you I won't see until 2005!

mmm........... steady guys, don't we all know by now that RR's are just a finger in the wind? If not, do some searches on this site.

The only way of sorting out all this <beep> we have ALL been going thru is 1) engine dyno 2) seat of ones shitty keks 3) lap times with equivalent driver, hence our new website
Previous :RS4 B5 (Noggy Babe), 934 GT2, 996 Cup.
WIP :to be advised.....

tend to agree with Andi, RR are fickle in the extreme, although they give a bench mark.........true power is what happens on the road, combined with driveability and handling...no point in having a rocket ship if it wont stop or go round the corner, that'll be standard car then............ :bigwave:
Out of interest, were any of the cars there standard RS4, cant identify any from the figures.
