I'll have driven from Essex to Castle Combe, done a trackday and then driven up to Donington. Even if I gave it a full weekend of cleaning by the time I arrive it will be filthy. :(

Yes, I'm looking forward to it too David.

And Tom, I promise I'll give the car a good clean next Saturday - just dont be surprised if the motorway muck covers it all up again on the way down...!

Haven't made it to any sort of meet yet and would be good to put some names to faces (or is it the other way round?)

If 'spectatorism' is allowed then I'll pop up for the day and see how it's all done, and hopefully catch a glimpse of the new RS4.

Cheers
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

Bob, I'm spectating (with family) and I have confirmed spectating is allowed, so please come along.

Cheers,
Clive

Bum, I have got clearance to come with my RS4 (ex John Stalski MTM) and 964RS, but on condition that the family staying with us for the weekend (twin boys aged 14) could come too.....is it definite that children under 16 will not be allowed on track? First time I have come across this, all my kids have been round the Ring, Goodwood etc. before their fifth birthday ;-)Regards Matthew

jr, you need to change your signature - the forum hitler (aka PhilT) will be prosecuting you under the trade descriptions act (unless you've fitted a GT3 to RS4 body conversion).

There's nothing to stop them watching from track-side?

Thanks Nige - but I doubt that the prospect of watching at this time of year will be sufficiently exciting for them to be able to swing it. John was keen for his old car to be there but TBH unless I can be sure I can take the kids out I won't get clearance....added to which, Simple is rather less than welcoming in his greeting, which does little to engender enthusiasm!!
Regards Matthew
