So you're defo doing the Ring Paul before Spa?

It seems like the popular choice for those going to Spa on Saturday, only an hour or so from the Ring so makes sense to pop over for those who haven't been to the Ring before.

Didn't realise you hadn't driven the Nordschleife yet Paul? It's quite an experience & so worth it but as anyone will tell you, take it easy & be aware:)

Not been round (driving) for a few years:( but clocked up about 170 laps between 2007 & 2009 so long overdue some more Ring time.

I will be going to Spa on the Saturday, and will head to the Ring on Sunday to meet up with Dave and Nigel who are going to straight to the Ring on Sunday looking to arrive in time for the pm session.

Are you on the overnight crossing arriving on Sunday?.

I have done a lap of the Ring in the RS4 and had a few passenger laps with Glen, Sonny, Dave and Nigel there are too many nutters and stoppages for my liking on TF days, I am looking to do Nurburgring 700 the Exige this year.

Did Scuderia Hanseat with PhilT at Nurburgring (Nordschleife & F1) back in 2007 & that teaches you the track in small sections & you drive them all forwards & backwards so get a fantastic perspective.

During our Race Driver schooling, we both went out for some hot laps whilst the Nordschleife was closed to the masses & managed an 8:29 BTG which is still a time i've yet to re achieve & TBH doubt i ever will.

yea..but..same as above, really need to factor a budget in as I dont want to miss any races in this series.

Im gutted im not going to Spa, would have been handy if they kept it to October as the season is over then (apart from the Autumn special event).

I think we should all chip in and get sonny over to spa - won't be the same without ya mate

Just booked Spa for Monday...!

Sadly little Glen will have to hold the Revolution fort as Keith my other manager is having another baby that week awwww...

Anyway, planning to travel over with Phil T & co. on the Hull ferry Saturday then Ring Sunday for some TF fun and after Mondays fun at Spa head back home Tuesday.

Cant wait to catch up with you all - Sonny, get your ass out there as I need a witness to Pauls drunken antics
