Audi Driver Track days

Post by bakerdcb » Wed Feb 22, 2006 9:26 pm

Recently published dates for this year's Audi Driver Track days. Just wondered if anyone was going?

Thought I might do the Mallory one just because I've never driven that circuit before and would probably do Croft again because its a great circuit and last year was a brilliant day :D (Not to mention at least 7 RS4's on the track!)

So anyone fancy it?

They usually run it in 2 sessions, morning and afternoon. You buy either a full day (6 passes) or half a day (3 passes) and thats the number of times you go out on track. You can usually use your pass when you want and each one will give you 15-20 minutes or so on track. You can usually buy individual passes as well for 1 slot but these obviously work out more expensive.

Not sure if that makes sense but their website probably makes it clearer.

Thanks for that.

Croft is fantastic, on a par with Oulton I reckon.

You know me, steady. I guess I'll have to give it a miss ;)

Just seen the picture! Tempted, but the snow's still beckoning after seeing all that Olympic action. Of course - if it means a 6+ is photogenic then.......

I'll deffo do croft again with the rs4, probably only a half day though, trying to give the old gal a bit of a rest from it all.

Yes David croft is a good track, hope to see you there.
Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

Deane. Can't be sure RS will be "fit" in time as is VOR awaiting DRC accumulator which is forecast earliest mid-March (that's for the warranty job before my car!). Do you think if I can't get the RS back on track, they'd let me take a "lesser car" (and could you stand the humiliation if, sorry when I overtake). Don't suppose Audi would like me using their loan car, so I won't (without changing the wheels if mine'll fit) tee hee.
