Guys, that goes for cars as for bikes.I'm lucky enough to enjoy both of the worlds....there is room for both to 'roam the roads' just depends on how sensible the driver is.Do agree though that they should have seperarte car & bike runs at the ring and maybe also a seperate run for the Japanese Tourist driving along while taking pictures of the country side.

Enough said, off to pack my bags.....Simon,keep your distance if you see a sexy red / black blade wheeling down the straights.... :D :) 8)

they come from nowhere and in general have a complete disregard for anyone else, most of them dont have UK plates though
Having done just as many laps on a bike as I have in a car of the ring, I would suggest this is more of a problem for the bike riders with fast cars. Bikers will generally (but not always) not attempt an overtake if there is not room for them. Not so with cars. I've had a car touch my knee slider on an overtake around a bend, and I was leaned over on the bike don't forget !!

Without a doubt the biggest problem is those with the attitude: "I've paid my money and I'm going to drive/ride it how I like". If these kn0b-heads moved over and let the faster stuff through life would be so much simpler, and safer.

As for looking for faster cars/bikes behind, so what ?
You have to use (or at least should be using) your mirrors on the road, and on any other track day you may well also encounter slower/faster cars. The only big difference is the lack of groups meaning the speed difference can be much larger.

Bottom line, enjoy it while you can as I doubt they'd shut it to bikes only, or turn away one set of paying customers just to keep the other set happy. Shutting it altogether is a real possibility though unfortunately

Now lets all round our toys up and go and play happily together  :bigwave:
Too many toys, not enough time
