Guys, I know this isn't the right forum to tell the story, but.......
Firstly, I want to apologise for not spending the planned 3 days with you all. I had a brilliant time on the track and it was so great to go on the trip with you all and to meet up with some of you who I've not met before (Dave P, Gordon, FlashyG).
As I mentioned, I had a bit of an issue with my latest MTM upgrade and my car wasn't producing the power it should have. At the last minute, Kim arranged for me to visit MTM in Germany to find out what was causing the problem. They mapped the RS4 for 2 days and finally mananged to get expected power which was 501 bhp from Dyno no1 and 507 bhp from Dyno n02. I am so pleased with this output because the car feel totally different (before the final set up, I was only managing 460 bhp).
I wish that this was arranged for a different day as I wasn't too pleased to miss this great trip with you all. I ended up walking round the shops and sitting at MTM and listening to the sound of my car on the Dyno! I have to say that MTM were great and the guys were so helpful.
Of course I didn't get back home until 4.30am on the Wednesday. On Thursday I went to see Kim to confirm the power on his Dyno and I bumped into Gordon at the Shell petrol station. We had a quick chat and I saw his Movit brakes and they look absolutely stunning. I have to say that Gordon looked really knackered, with the back of his car full of gadgets and it looked like his suspension dropped 5 inches with the weight!!!!
Going back to Kim, the Dyno was actually slipping so he couldn't measure the power. He had to arrange to fix it the following morning. I had a call from Kim to come back again and test the power. This time we managed to get 507.6 bhp and 605.9 nm torque, which I'm very pleased with. Simon (Sita) came with me and he was also really impressed with the performance.
Just to say again, I had a great time in Belgium. Thanks to Phil for organising this and it was great to see all of you! I hope to see as many of you as possible at Silverstone to catch up properly.
