My Prang at Spa

Post by charlescrawley » Thu Oct 28, 2004 1:44 pm

Sorry to be a pain in the proverbial, but I was just wondering if any of our group actually witnessed the French Porsche rolling into my car and would be willing to act as a witness to my insurance company if required?
Cheers,

Charles

I kinda saw it in my rear view mirror, but was not in the direct line of sight. I'm pretty sure one of the guys here will have seen it, otherwise the guys from Audi Passion should be able to help.

Thanks fellas. I'm sure it won't be necessary, as he's admitted fault on the form etc, but you never know with these things...

Charles,

As mentioned at the track, the Porsche was heading straight into my car. Luckily I had the engine on and managed to drive away. I saw the incident with you and will be happy to give evidence. Send me a PM with whatever you need.

Best of luck

John,

Thanks for your offer... I'm fairly confident that nothing will be necessary, but I'll bear you in mind along with Dave if things get nasty!

I saw the whole thing too.
It was like a fight had broken out. There was a silence and a sound of shock, the Porsche Reversed across my line of sight the owner was wrestling it through the half open door / window then crash.
I will never forget, I'm nearly as traumatised as the car.

We are first hand witnesses

A bloke in a porker came in to the fast group car park and stopped leaving the car in gear (not good to put handbrake on after a session).

Unfortunately he then proceeded to somehow knock it out of gear
Consequences were it rolled back down the fairly steep carpark and used Charles' car to come to a stop :bash:

Was this abit like when Frederick reversed his S6 Avant into the side of my car in said same car park, with 'loads of onlookers' sounding their horn to let him know he was about to reverse into my car..............

Well, it's all in the hands of my insurers, so fingers crossed it all gets sorted out to my satisfaction!
