Sorry guys change of plan, the car will probably not be back from the bodyshop for this weekend jaunt

Also before going on the track I am getting the suspension rebuilt, all new front arms and dampers all round

As well as getting the 6 pot Movits on the front and the Movit rears

I think that will mean it will be at the bodyshop that week and the following week it will be down at Kims getting the above sorted

Cant wait to get it all run in

Also another reason is I have a new set of rubber and it needs to do 1000 miles before a track day for two reasons,
1 - the silicon coating has not worn off
2 - they need to bed slightly to enable better grip

I mean honestly hav eyou seen the abuse the car gets with me driving it???? And it is even worse on the track!!

Cheers

Bushy

I think Riz better get his skates on as his new car is going to be at Castle Coombe.
The only running RS3 in the country
saw it on its maiden voyage yesterday at Kims
RS3, well its actually a S3 running a RS4 engine & box but Riz probably won't be able to tell the difference through rose coloured specs

Looks like I'm gonna be there in the morning but doubt I'll be tracking as I've got to get to the Isle of Wight for the afternoon.

Think I'll camp out by quarry and watch everyone fall off

I'm going on the Saturday, along with Dunc and RS4John. I'm not going on the track this time though.

What time are we meeting chaps (providing you get up this time, John ).

Anyone else from around Surrey fancy meeting up for our blast down there for this on Sat morning?

I'm looking forward to seeing Kim's RS3 in action..

I could well be there in the afternoon (going out Friday night ).

I think it seems right that my 1000th post is in the meets forum

I'm booked in for the pm track session, meal at night and the concours on Sunday. Will have to look after the old girl on the track, so she looks her best on Sunday

Looks like the beast will not be ready from the bodyshop until noon so I am going to have to blow it out

Have a great day

We can meet at Reading services if you like?

Simon and I are going in his car.

We was thinking of getting there for about 10 at the latest, not too early but before the crowds...

What time you planning?

Dunc
