Good news = got into the pit crew bar ( drinks a fraction of the regular price )
Bad news = went in the wifes A3 TDI as the RS4 was laid up at QST
Yep, safe and sound. Was a good one wasn't it? How did you blag your way into there Paul? Best we could do was the showers in the ACO stand.

Bad times: Slipping clutch on the RS4 :(

Good times: Packed to the rafters and still managing to stay right up the chuff of a TVR somethingorother 450 on the old N138 on the way down. :)

Group C's

Audi and Aston winning.

The noise of the bad boy vettes.

Schoolboy error: driving through Arnage Village on mad Friday with the window down. Still, it was refreshing.

Saw three other B5's, an avus one and a noggy one, both on Houx, and one other avus one out and about, all UK registered.

N138, ah the good old days, many a blast down there. That's where I learned you need good brakes when you are overtaking people at 130 on two way road. I suppose with most people doing down the motorway there are less speed traps now.

Got back fine - we went on to friends in Provence (St Remy) - R8 did really well, although we did spot far too many Mobile Police traps in france - luckily dodged them all
