I have a GTi Engineering Golf re2000 8v GTi also. The clutch went on the Audi last night, it's already in the garage this morning so all being well I'll be there on the 14th.

Jon, are you bringing the R8 along? Would love to have a good look without being sneered at by main dealer salesperson (as happened recently)
