Well, i was passenger in this mental trip to the ring with Doug. It has to be one of the best laughs i have had for ages. The food was ace, the hotel was spot on and the track is insane. Doug did all the driving over the weekend which was cool, i just got to sit back in the recaros and enjoy the ride. I have a load of pics on my phone that i will upload later.

The car was the star of the show, before the trip i hated the B5 S4, I have now grown to like many of its qualities. The engine is powerful, yet still smooth, the B7 RS4 brakes are a must IMO, they just make it stop. The suspension was stiff, yet comfortable enough to travel the 1000 miles from banbury and back. In all the car was ace, doing over 200 miles of flat out abuse without one problem (apart from the highly funny arch mods we carried out)

There was only one downsides tho.... lack of decent tasting teabags! Where were the PG tips??

Even tho it rained on sunday, we still had a good day. Watching cars crash or drifting at "show boat" corner, the ring taxis in the wet are well worth seeing, and the sausage van man's food was ace :D LOL

Monday was the best day tho, got loads of laps in, it was cold yet dry and the number of quick cars out there was good. The R8 hunting was a hoot, I bet they hated it when the S4 gunned it past them (burst their ear drums no doubt)

Many thanks to Doug for letting me sit in the passenger seat, i had a wicked time. Will defo bring more money next time and hopefully my own car :D
