It decided tonight on the way home to try and sound like a rally car.....

Local mechanic has told me it's most likely the flexi coupling near the manifold and to take it to audi.

I've phoned them, but they will give me a call tomorrow. Knowing Audi they wont ring & wont be able to do anything until friday next week....

Well the garage have said audi have a fixed price for this and it's usually cheaper than they can do it for.

Just I'm expecting the audi dealers wont be able to fit me in tomorrow.

which was about quarter past seven, good job i have my own private road between Bradford and Littleborough going via the mother in laws, the bank and the petrol station as otherwise i could have been fracturing a law or two.

anyway, another excellent night, resolved the burning issue of just WHEN should you replace a DV, got rained on and enjoyed the usual agreeable company. cheers guys
