Personally I can't wait - got car back today - need to have a run to get back into the swing - 7 weeks away from the car - boost now superb 28psi every time I hit the loud pedal.
Need to sort some rear pads for next week after I return from Cornwall.
May even get some slightly softer fronts as not so aggresive braking on the Ring.

For those interested in ADAC, theres a very useful thread on Ben Lovejoys forum
It confirms that you get full recovery in the UK (as well as Europe). It also seems like the ADAC UK partner is the AA. The T's and C's are also linked to in English :

p.s. Thanks to Jeff for raising the subject and sending me the original form

Got my ADAC card within a week following Ben lovejoy's instructions.
My wife had to ring her friend in germany to translate it though!
Have learnt some German in preparation (excuse spelling);
"Miner auto ist kapput" - My car is broken
"Miner auto ist einer 'air ess fear" - My car is an RS4
As Scotty says there is a link with AA, my AA card has 'ARC Europe' on it, as has my ADAC card..

For anyone who is travelling down A20 and needs a pit stop before Dover, I have found this Sainsburys store literally just off J9 A20 near Ashford which does Super Unleaded (currently 92.9 ppl). We usually get on boat hungry and find nothing that appeals, then get off in France and spend hours cruising around Dunkirk looking for fuel (me) and food (he knows who he is). Not this time!
http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shoppingand ... .htm?id=59
I'd get out of France ASAP as they have some MAD rule about giving way to traffic on right even if car is on a side road
"Priorité a Droite
In built-up areas, the 'give way to the right rule' still applies and you must give way to anybody coming out of a side-turning on the right, particularly on unmarked junctions in towns and villages. However the rule no longer applies after the yellow diamond. This sign is usually applied on the 'open road'. If you are unsure it is best to exercise caution."
Other tips;
Sat Nav will take you on motorway pretty much all way from Dunkirk to Blankenheim via Aachen (and yes there is some autobahn!)
However after 2-2.5 hrs you get to Eupen which is on Belgian/German border and is a good stopping point as it has long drag with a Shell and a McDonalds (and a VW Audi dealership) and from here there is a beautiful A road to Blankenheim which goes through Eifel Mountains National Park and towns of Monschau and aptly named Schleiden though you do have to endure a rough (but not wheel bending) road on the border which Ben Lovejoy calls "the Belgian unofficial suspension testing facility" - it's concrete and like sections of M42 only a little rougher - only a mile or two long but memorable!
After this you have approx 1hr of fantastic smooth sweeping roads with good passing places. Just go easy through the towns as there are cameras.
Also I'd recommend headlights on for high speed driving as it really helps clear the outside lane (and nobody resents you doing this unlike in UK) and prevents people pulling out on you. In Belgium and Germany people do largely stick to 85 tops so doing 100+ means people may not expect you to have suddenly pulled alongside them.
And in Belgium its been reported that the Police use Impreza WRXs and have cracked down on speeding on the E40 though to be honest we haven't seen one yet (on 2 trips) so be careful and enjoy the excellent roads and disciplined drivers!
