Sloppy gear change feel.(solution:short shifter???)

Post by mdss » Wed Mar 07, 2012 1:03 am

Thought i would ask you guys if any of you also have the same problem? It changes gear fine but once in gear the mechanism no longer has that tight feel i assume its the plastic coupling/below the shiter stick itself as there is some slop in that area.

Can anyone suggest where i should buy this from or is it a main dealer part only? Would a shorrt shifter kit also eliminate this and if so which one is best?

Thanks for any help in advance

Love my Tanoga shifter and probably have the OEM one knocking about somewhere if you want to buy it.
