Crunch... scrape...
Crunch... scrape...
Anybody here got H&R springs and Milltek... and survived speed-bumps on a regular basis? How tough are the cats? Flexi pipes have taken a bit of hassle too. I think I may go back to standard ride height before my nerves completely shred... thoughts?
Re: Crunch... scrape...
How far do the H&Rs lower the car? Is it a lot and can it be reduced?

Well, yes, by reverting to OE springs or substituting everything for coilovers... so I sort of know the answer to my own question really... it's just annoying because it *looks* so good IMORS2_Russ wrote:How far do the H&Rs lower the car? Is it a lot and can it be reduced?

Extra 40mm... it's not too low in any other respect, apart from the cats now being in the danger zone... and wouldn't matter so much if they weren't set so far back (i.e. if they were slightly more forward, toward the front axle). As it is, they're just far back enough to catch some speed bumps when the front end comes back down.RS2_Russ wrote:How far do the H&Rs lower the car? Is it a lot and can it be reduced?
I think bigger wheels to fill the arches and standard suspension (therefore giving the illusion of being lower)!
Re: Crunch... scrape...
I was debating going down the H&R route anyone else running them and have input on there performance and practicality.
Ie. things like Multi-stories still possible or does the car bottom out going up the levels?
