I've had my car for 4 days now (Hiltoa's old car) and am loving every minute of it.
Everything seems to be spot on, but I do get a grinding noise under load in 2nd or 3rd at low speeds, which goes as the revs rise. Car has an MRC ckutch and lightened flywheel.
Any ideas?
Thanks

That'll be the lightened flywheel then
The standard dual mass flywheel is designed to damp any low rev / high torque vibrations, but is heavy and blunts throttle response.
The lightened flywheel provides a sharper throttle response and allows the engine to rev up quicker, but transmits the low end vibes. TBH, if you're hearing that noise, it's time to change down a gear!
As an aside, you'll get quicker feedback for a B5 RS4 on the other forum...
