Doug's old B5 RS4 on Pistonheads

Advert here;

Doug's introduction of the car here;

Mileage seems to be just over half what it was in 2007 when Doug bought it, maybe seller means since the rebuild it's done 65k?

Thought I'd ask the seller a question.

Qu. " Can you confirm the mileage of 65,000 - is that covered by the engine and car, or just the engine please ? If just the engine, how many miles has the car covered ? "

Ans. " It has been covered by the engine. The car has been maintained to a very high standard and the engine is in showroom condition even at that mileage. "

'That mileage' is undisclosed !

I don't know why sellers waste their time and that of others by not stating a key fact in determining the value of the car.
Either
a) it's clocked (I doubt it)
or
b) it's actually 3 times the mileage inferred and thus not the car you thought it was.
