About bloody time for some updated pics. You have been busy. Car is looking great! What type of front splitter is that, Leon TR?
How you finding the Induction kit with the CAF?
Open plate? (Im a NA RS4 Driver remember,so open plates and FMIC are useless jargon too me)

Yes been busy!
Open plate I meant, the number plate characters have cut out so as to allow free air flow through to the front mount intercooler behind (having cut a hole in the bumper)? Will post another pic tomorrow.
The air feed to the cone filter results in a lot more induction noise. Much more than the ITG panel filter its replaced.
MUCH quicker than when I left it a few weeks ago

Sweet, looks mean carl, nice mods, and great figures, well done sir
I was looking at rota wheels at one point for my B5, light and strong wheel with an aggressive look, do you notice much difference on the reduced unsprung weight? I.e braking, turning, handling?

Massive difference in the wheel weight. Much more lively car especially on corners.
Reckon there's 4kgs per corner less unsprung weight, + 40kgs sprung weight from the front seats + 5kgs min from the front bumper doing the FMIC.
Would imagine I've lost c60kgs from the car's weight alone (sprung weight), but even more gains from the unsprung weight (wheels).
Car is Massively quicker, Very hard to describe?
Similar to going from OEM to Stage 1 (Map & catback)... Gains are alot more raw now - in your face

I know about the gains by reducing unsprung weight, which is why I went down the dymag wheel route when I had my B5, 7kg carbon wheels combined with ceramic brakes... Can you imagine the transformation!
Would have been unbelievable, as the icing on the cake, would have either gone Poles or RECARO CSs

Yes I can. Have seen Steve's car (your Dymag wheels) often. He has ceramics too.

Steve's car is something else, but he picked up his dymags roughly same time as mine were finished, my dymags were bought by another MRCd B5 owner, widebody saloon running with amazing figures, when I last spoke to him he too was in the process of upgrading brakes to ceramics

Which WB was that ? There aren't that many of them about.
I had assumed SS had your wheels...
