Just what do you guys/girls use in your cars?

My son has been in a Recaro Start from 1 year old (he's 4 now).

I might have looked at getting the Isofix system done for the S4 if he was younger when I bought the car.

Britax Isofix
or Britax Car Seat

Isofix Britax
Renaissance Britax
Rock a tot Britax AND
A Recaro

The isofix Britax is by far the best we have used. Bit fiddly when removing the cover for cleaning after an accident, but SO safe [img]images/graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I've got one of these in my S4

I have been thinking about the Recaro but I also need a capsule! So far here I can get Safe'n Sound. The Australian Standards are a bit hard, not even recaro has one (I think the price scares most potential buyers and Recaro just could not be bothered to submit to the testing)I should be able to import though anything I want.
This Isofix thing, is it the Factory Audi fitting?

ISOFIX is something that the RS4 is ready for but not fitted with (if that makes sense). I'd see your local dealer for the kit and fitting. Looks to be the best system for the kiddies.

It certainly did. The word Nicht is mentioned a lot on the Recaro [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] It was not highly rated in other than frontal crash either.
It seems the Rommer is the best in that test. Never heard of it though.

If you need the Römer Duo, it will be interesting for you that it is identical to:
Audi Huckepack G1 Duo, Honda Isofix, Mazda Duo, Mercedes Isofix Duo mit autom. Kindersitzerkennung, Nissan Duo, VW Bobsy G1 Duo.

Do I get it right, the Britax/Romer is Safe 'n Sound?
So it is safer than Recaro?! All of this looking around and the best seat is the one around the corner? [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
At the moment I am looking into the ISOFIX thing. It is NOT aproved for Australia but possibly I can get it fitted. (as long as I buy the seat itself myself from oversesas)
I think it is either Britax duo ISOFIX or the Recaro.
Does the Recaro have ISOFIX ?

The Recaro Start is not ISOFIX.....

I think that Audi may do a ISOFIX child seat (I know BMW do so chances are....)
