B7 Alloys with B7 brakes, would that work?

Post by kd » Sun Dec 19, 2010 5:20 pm

Hi

I have searched around on the forum but cant seem to find an old post that mentioned this...I am sure it must have been discussed before... I have the B7 disks and callipers and am looking at putting the B7 alloys on (9x19 with 255/30/19). Would this work on a B5 with standard suspension? I have spacers on my OEM 18s (I think 15 at back and 10 at front).

Would this work with or without spacers without any rubbing or is there a problem with this setup? sorry not very clued up on this type of thing.

Many thanks

B7 alloys are ET29 IIRC, and B5's ET20

It might just clear without, but would give much much better clearance and also look better if you keep the spacers.

I run 15mm spacers with this set up no issues, could even run with just a 10mm spacer on front.
