I'm running B7 RS4 wheels with 15mm Eibach Spacers and 275/30/19 Goodyear Asym tyres.

you dont need spacers , they will fit fine without but its what you like the look of the best. an 8mm spacer will bring the et back to 20 from 28 but in my experience having the wheels stuck out just rashes the side of the car with stonechips. also remember that the b7 wheel is half an inch wider than a b5 one so with a 20mm et the wheel will already be 1/4 inch further out than a std wheel

It depends on what size tyres you use as to wether you need spacers, the fronts are not a problem but the rears are, 265/35/19 touch the rear suspension upright, 275/30/19 Goodyears clear by about 1mm which is to close in my opinion, you could just use an 8 or 10mm spacer on the rear.jimbo1234567 wrote:you dont need spacers , they will fit fine without but its what you like the look of the best. an 8mm spacer will bring the et back to 20 from 28 but in my experience having the wheels stuck out just rashes the side of the car with stonechips. also remember that the b7 wheel is half an inch wider than a b5 one so with a 20mm et the wheel will already be 1/4 inch further out than a std wheel
As Jimbo said it depends what you like the look of.

....So if I understand you correctly:
a 275/30/19 with an 8/10mm spacer will clear the suspension and miss the arch?
Whats the standard tyre size for the B7 RS4?

Std tyre size for B7 RS4 is 265/35/19.
They will clear the arch no problem as i run 15mm Hubcentric spacers and no rubbing.
275/30/19 Tyres are also cheaper than 265/30/19.

255/35/19 is the standard tyre size used on the B7
You can usee anything from a 255/30 up to a 275/30/19 tyre on the B5.
With a 265 or 275 you will need to run spacers as the tyre fouls the rear suspension arm
If you use a 255/30, you don't need to run spacers, as the less width clears the suspension arm
Bear in mind not all tyre sizes are the same width, from make to make

i have my 9.5 x 19 et 30 bimotos on with 275 30 assymetrics and no spacers, the wheels sit nicely in the arch and theres no rubbing front or back, these same wheels with 10mm spacers stuck out too much for me.

do you have standard suspension? I run these wheels with 10mm as felt suspension arm was too close so bought spacers. Guy I bought from had no spacers but ran coil overs.jimbo1234567 wrote:i have my 9.5 x 19 et 30 bimotos on with 275 30 assymetrics and no spacers, the wheels sit nicely in the arch and theres no rubbing front or back, these same wheels with 10mm spacers stuck out too much for me.

yes stock suspension, coilovers dont make any difference as its the cast iron arm that fouls the tyre, i modified mine to give another 3mm although the tyre didnt touch it was very close. the other alternative is to use 3mm spacers which will give you some more clearance but still allow the spigot to locate keeping the wheel centered.beastman wrote:do you have standard suspension? Right...sounds like there are various configs that will work on the B5.
I could run the following tyres on the B7 wheels with the ET29 offset:
1) 255/35/19 with a 10mm spacers
2) 265/30/19 with a 10mm spacer
3) 255/30/19 without any spacers
4) 275/30/19 with a 10mm spacers
Correct?
