sadly it appears that my clutch is in need of replacing
this is the second time of the life of my car.
first time few years ago, my clutch was changed without changing the flywheel.
for now am not sure if it needs changing or not (the flywheel), they said they have to open and check. but the parts take around 10 to 14 days to arrive so what do u guys think?
shall i order the flywheel and change it any way,or it could be fine?
am also thinking of ordering from the clutch kit from

what do u guys think? good choice? are the pricing right?
shall i go for the standerd clutch kit or their stage 3 kit?
will the stage 3 clutch kit last longer than the OEM ?

I would always uprate teh clutch if it is coming out anyway.
have you thought about a single mass flywheel?

You can get them in the UK/US and stick on a sprung clutch.
I dont see the point of spending the money on the dual mass flywheel when you know you could be replacing again later

how long it lasts depends on you and how you drive it

not your car but essentially the same flywheel.
i would say if it (the flywheel) is on its second clutch now then it is time for a replacement as a matter of course. you dont want a fresh, hard biting clutch and then have the DMF fail and have to pull the box out again.

the DIY above gives you some idea of life expectancy but it doesn't mean if it is in spec that it will last like new.
personally I hate the idea of a dual mass wheel and ditched it for a single mass unit
