I need some knowledge and advice please about fitting new grilles into the lower front bumper (my RS4 came without them).
The centre grille has holes all the way that line-up with plastic lugs all the way round the inside but there doesn't appear to be a way of anchoring it in - have I missed something?
On the left and right grilles that I've bought (part numbers 8D0 807 345 and 346) there are two cut-outs at the bottom with back pieces that I assume should clip behind the two raised bits on the bottom of the hole. However the raised bits seem to be about twice the height of the grille cut-outs. Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Simon

RE: Lower front bumper grilles
the center grill is fitted when the bumber is off. the side grills clip in at the bottom then are secured with a self tapper at the top of them..

You need 15 clips to secure centre grille

OK, well it seems the reason I was having trouble was that at some point in the cars history someone has decided to fill in the holes at the bottom of each side so the lugs at the bottom of the grills have nothing to slot into. Is there an after market grill that doesn't have the bottom lugs or do you think this was done because someone didn't want the grills in place.
