recently the temperature has risen to ~3x degree C. Today I drive the car with traffic jam, with ~34 degreeC outside. my coolant temperature then rise from 90 to mid point between 90 & 120 (I guess its ~105degreeC). When my car is on the move, it will lower slowly back to 90degreeC. I also realise my air con did not work very well when this happens, infact I turned it off as I wish to off load the engine loading (it maybe a stupid idea isnt it

)
is this normal? how much shall I rated too high temperature?

sounds like a problem with the viscous coupler on the fan.

The fault is finally identified, fortunately not a nasty problem! Its just the electrical plug for the radiator fan (the small electric one) being melt and loose contact, which explain why it cannot regulate the temperature only at high temperature or under traffic jam.
The garage is very good and honest coz initially they told me its the fan failure so need a new replacement which cost ~400USD. When I pick up my car and prepare to pay the bill they told me it doesnt cost this much ! I only paid ~80USD for this troubleshooting
btw I bought my babe a new sets of Goodyear F1 tyres as a treat
