Given low owners, milltek, new brakes, new tyres,it should find a new owner fairly quickly if all the usual checks are good

hi
this guy has only just bought the car!i just missed out with my 8.5k bid a couple of weeks ago so be careful why he is selling so quick?it was for sale in birmingham a couple of weeks back and didnt look a bad car?it was a company car from new and wanted for nothing so might not be a bad buy but there was something that put me off a touch but couldn't put my finger on it apart from rs4 badges stuck everywhere you could see.ha

Is he a trader? Perhaps just bought it at the right money to have a blast in while shifting it on,il be doing the same with a rangey sport soon,or on the other hand it could have one of the more serious b5 issues such as chocolate cams or gearbox!! If he only gave 8.5k for it though he could fix and have peace of mind cheap b5 ownership?

Hi all, just found this forum now i'm a new owner of a B5 RS4.

I bought the car we are talking about and i must say i'm delighted. The car is in excellent condition - almost mint bar a couple of tiny paint touch ups required (under warranty as it is blistering around the rear plate in a couple of tiny areas. The interior is also spotless and the aftermarket touch screen system istalled has been very nicely done and can do everything very well (ipod/dual Freeview tuners/dvd/bluetooth and sat nav. I was sceptical because of the price (the old too good to be true thing) but once i saw and drove it i was more than happy to pay the £10k. The buyer before me was a trader and just wanted to enjoy the car for a couple of weeks before selling it on for what he paid for it.

A full Audi SH up to the last couple, gear change is sweet, the full turbo back Milltek sounds superb, its been mapped and it goes very well :) The car orginally was company owned by a pilot had the plate 9 Fly (I Fly) on and it is quite apt!

I just need to swap out a rear door speaker as it has gone - how do i get the rear door panel off?

I have just had a mapped BMW 535d M Sport and i'm so glad I got the RS4.

I thought id been very lucky getting it, the trader said he'd been fending off the calls since i said i'd take it. I'm just crossing my fingers now hoping that it doesnt go pop any time soon. I need to get it health checked for my piece of mind, i'm in the Chesterfield area, can anyone recommend anywhere?

Thanks.
