Bigger or better rear brakes on Audi RS4 B5???
I need new rear brake disc to my RS4.
My old rear disc is the drilled (quattro GmbH) versions.
Are the any upgrade, or even little better disc then these?

Why not the B7 RS4 rear brakes, or AP Racing...?

I went for B7 RS4 ones... a good priced alternative when you look at the OEM prices of B5 discs

I've got Movits allround.. awesome stopping power and zero fade!
Might need replacement rotors though if i can't get mine refurbed due to lack of use... anyone know prices for new rotors?

I went B7 brakes all round, the rear discs I think are 324 mm up from 312 mm. Seems like an easy and economical option.

No need to upgrade the rears as they contribute very little, IMO.
I have replaced mine with OEM discs and pagid blue's. I have the B7 set up on the front with Phaeton Discs and cooling ducts. Braking is superb and no fade whatsoever on track.
Just my 2p as I know many people feel the need to have bigger brakes on the rear!

I know what you are saying re: rears not doing much particulalry on stock suspension given the b5 RS4 has a lot of dive. However, uprated suspension must help to keep more weight over the rears meaning they may help.
Would be interesting to see a comparison in stopping distance with and without rear upgrade.

its a very interesting arguement, the last time i drove my car was 3 weeks ago and i caned it over 15 miles, when i got home i went round the car and felt the wheels , the back ones were as hot as the fronts which tells me me the back brakes are doing a lot of work, when ap developed this conversion why did they increase the diameter of the fronts from 360-365 and the rears from 312 -343 and slap a big caliper on there, ?

I agree, it would be a good comparison.
I've never been "out braked" by the guys with the upgrade, there again they have never been close enough to try

Because no one would have paid their prices for OEM sized items!
