Movit brakes in the wet

Lately I've being noticing that when its really wet on the roads (normally motorway driving with loads of fine spray) the brake pedal becomes much harder and requires much more force than normal to bite, not sure if this is the characteristic of the movit discs and pads or its something else. It also pulls to the right, but in the dry the brakes are excellent and no pull.

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sports all round (only 5 months old).

Any suggestions? Anyone had the same problem.

I was told that you have to hook it up to VAG-COM to programme the breaks with the wipers so the break pads stay dry. maybe yous needs doing, hence why the pads are staying wet. this is with the B7 not sure about the B5 just an idea.

Pretty sure the B5 wn't have this function or option to do so.

The B7 has a built-in function (part of ESP) that monitors the brakes for any water and applies the brakes momentarily to wipe any water off.

"An additional safety feature offered by ESP is the dry braking function: In bad and wet weather the system regularly applies the brake pads to the discs in a process virtually unnoticeable to the driver, thus removing water from the brake discs in the interest of enhanced stopping power. Further features included in the ESP stability program are the electronic differential lock, anti-spin control, and the ABS anti-lock brakes"
