Autobahn 88 - short shifter - anyone fitted one ?

Just purchased one of these from Ebay and has arrived in many bags and many bits - has anyone fitted one that can give any tips, pitfalls etc...

custom remap - KW V3 - Hotchkis Sways - ASP DTS with poly mount - 034 Street Mounts + Snub with bracket - Apikol rear diff mount and bushes - Gutted precats - DUH Fmic kit - 360x32 floating discs+brembo 6-pot at the front - 710Ns - OEM 18 Hard wheels - JHM shifter/linkage/spring etc - Podi.ca Boost Gauge - Powerflex Bushes - Afterrun mod -

Thanks for the help just fitted it, took about half an hour and you don't really need the instructions as it uses 80% of the original audi parts anyway - Very impressed so far. I have it set on minimum throw distance and it all works really well, reverse is also spot on.

Got to be the best bargain i have ever purchased at 19 pounds plus postage !!!

Off for a play now !!!!!! :lol:

can i ask why, as this unit is a complete copy of a well enginered BM shifter - which i have always thought were OK in the past having fitted them to a few of my cars !!

well to each their own.

the BM shifter is everything but a well engineered product for the B5 S4!

there is no doubt about it, the JHM one looks beautiful and you can tell that it is well made with a price to match - but what is the main difference in application in the car...Just interested to know, i won't be changing mine in the short term as money is a bit tight at the moment but who knows what the future may bring...
