Anyone recognise this one?

They have hidden the reg and taken new pics but it's a red W reg with silver leather (there aren't many!) that's been advertised for ages.

They have fixed the one thing that this forum took issue with though..

I actually have a framed pic of this car on my office wall from Oct 2000

Not the Gumball one as that's an also rare 51 reg
This one, it had its rear bumper grilles painted over in red.
I wonder if the bumper has now been removed, old grilles removed with a lot of fiddling and new grilles fitted or if someone has just masked them off and painted them black

The EWL car is the press Audi car that JayKay drove in the Evo mag wasn't it?

Which is also this one
Did Jay Kay drive it in Evo?
As far as I can work out this car never surfaced in the press beyond this pic and another Silverstone pic taken side on.
Maybe it was given to Jay Kay after all? He appeared in Audi Magazine in 2003ish with an Avus B5 on a 51 plate, wonder where that is now.

How many 'rare' 51 plates are there?

What I don't get is that the mags at the end of 2000 were saying all 400 sold and then 2 years later new cars are still being registered? I guess the long winded production in part by Cosworth in the UK may have slowed things down.
We know the 04 one is a one off due to theft.
Mikey, do you know how come yours was so late? Is the delivery stamp from a UK main dealer?
There was also that red 02 that is poss still on PH for sale.
Were they in showrooms? But why showroom them if all sold apart from maybe to build the RS brand awareness and get people on top have a gawp?
There were also 2 model years spanning production, 2001 and 2002, the number before the N in the chassis number tells you which you have (1 or 2), just wondering if there are any late reg cars that are 2001 model year build.
If you are not an anorak too then do forgive me!

There are quite a few 51,02, 52 and 03 platers out there. I don't think it's weird really.
