I think it has been reduced from £12.5k to £11.5k, hopefully the seller will get back to me then i'll give him a phone and see whats what. If its a good example then its a bargain.

Hey HEKTOR....yeh i was browsing as you do on PH....saw it for 12.5K then at 11.5K....confused me....sent you and MOR8A links as i know your both interested in RS's at the mo
but if i was you at 11.5K SNAP it up quick time - you never know he may except a little less

Im just worried that there might be something wrong with it, thats why i sent the seller an e-mail asking about its history etc so hopefully the reply is what i want to hear. Its really cheap in my opinion hence why i think it has some problems or is really rough.

Just spoken to the guy and it appears the car is a possible CAT D (Had a rear end shunt but doesn't sound too bad). All repairs were carried out by Pentagon and the car is completely standard. He was completely honest & up front and a great bloke to talk to, he's hoping to buy RS6 +. If mine sells tonight I may pip you to it Hektor.

Defo, there seem to be alot of CAT D's, C's and then the one with higher mileage which look tired. If this guy had dropped this a K recently then I'd ask questions too. Get it properly inspected by specialist before parting with your hard earned.

Just got an e-mail from the guy saying the same, Cat d with rear damage, its a shame because it does look a decent example but i would'nt buy a cat d, but the guy seems decent and answered my questions. If the car is good Shagga i think there may be a deal to be had, good luck

Maybe I expect too much of people but if he really was honest and up front then he'd have said it was a write off in the ad?
