Help required with a phatnoise phatbox system

Post by Ars4b5 » Thu Nov 12, 2009 1:13 pm

Hi guys need some help I've got a phatbox for my car I have everything apart from the lead. The one I ordered of eBay has a differant plug on it. The one on the unit looks more like a digital connector (if that makes sence). I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be good

You should have been supplied with a Phatbox 'connector cable to connect the Phatbox to the CD changer cable.

The end which looks like a 'digital connector' goes into the Phatbox, and at the other end of the connector cable should have the correct plug to mate with the CD changer cable end which I think is a 13pin round DIN connector if I remember correctly.

I just unplugged my CD changed and plugged in the Phatbox. Job done!

Can you post a picture of what you have?

Yep same here,

If you had a CD changer in place before then use the same DIN type cable that connected to that. If you didn't have a CD changer in place then you need to go out and buy a cable for it.
