Never worked on an Rs4 before, so I thought I'd ask a question here.
I've done several cv boot replacements on S2's and S4 b5's.
Is it the same procedure with the Rs4, the outer CV boot. On the S2 / S4 etc you just pull the drive axle from the car, and then use the big bolt as a "puller" and the CV joint just popps off from the drive axle.
Or is the Rs4's CV joint built like an Rs2 unit with a locking ring on both sides of the CV joint?
thanks for your inputs on this, I don't want to break the cv joint like I did one RS2 unit once . cost me plenty
