LMs on Noggy

Post by ollys » Wed Oct 21, 2009 10:17 pm

Potentially thinking of getting a set of 18" LMs. Anyone know how they would look on a Noggy RS4?

Had a search but can't find a pic of that combo!

thanks but really want to see the genuine article on an RS4.......

plenty of examples of pics of these rims on other coloured RS4s around but no noggy - I am wondering if there is a reason...

Olly, what brake setup you got on your RS? Also, what spec LM you thinking of going for?

Reason I ask is I was told that if you have the B7 or RS6 setups, the barrels of an 18" will not clear the brakes!

As Nils suggests

The 18" LM does not have the caliper space required by larger calipers, even 9x19 LM will require extra spacing to clear the B7 calipers.

Thanks Guys (Great advice!) - just to be clear these are LM127 18 x 8.5 ET30. Would have needed spacers anyway but with the B7 set up I have (front and rear) I am guessing more than a 12mm spacer will be required?

Not keen on running wide spacers!
