it never rains but it pours! clutch and cambelt advice

cam belts due bout to order the parts and locking kit and brace myself for a hellish time and guess what the clutch has started slipping!!! urgh!! i need it for a long journey in 6 weeks!! grrr!!
in a workshop with ramps and all the tools how hard is the clutch and any tips and advice on both the clutch and cam belt?!

na i dont do that!! i do this stuff myself! i cant justify giving someone my hard earned cash when im perfectly able!

Im with ya,when my cars are out of warranty i do everything myself apart from services to keep stamps in the book,both jobs are fairly big to do and you will need cam locking pins to do the belts,i think pwmotorsport was selling some on fleabay.autodato do a very good book on cambelts if you need a step by step guide, i have one they come in handy on more complex cars,front end needs to be in service mode for acsess but fairly straight forward,clutch may require some engine angle jiggling to get to the bolts at the top of the bellhousing but cant see any major probs if you have the right aproach and a ramp.good luck
