Exhaust - Cutting out mid silencers and replacing with pipes

Post by Grazer_skredge » Mon Sep 21, 2009 4:17 pm

Has anyone cut away their large mid silencers and replaced instead with straight through pipes - i.e. leaving the rear silencer and cats untouched.

On having my car up on our ramps would look like a fairly easy job to do, a lot less expense than a catback, and might release some of the v8 glory

Anyone tried this and if so what were the results?
