on the Qstuning website it says that the remap should give you :
420bhp Modified MTM motronic ECU without speed limiter and improved torque over entire rev range (550 Nm).
0-60 4.3seconds Max 186mph.
Im runnning on just a Remap
my car gets stuck at 173mph and then take very long to pick up.
plus anyone got 4.3secs ??

Lots of RS4 owners have had low 4 secs at GTI International - there are a few with sub 4 secs too, although you will need more than just a remap.
Did they remove the speed limiter with the remap? Maybe you have a problem with the car? MAF's can fail slowly, making it very difficult to notice the drop off in power.
Do you have access to vag-com to log block 003?

Mine's got a MRC custom re-map and a Miltek Cat Back (so perhaps an extra 10bhp - 430bhp total). On a private test track

, mine went up to 170+ no problem, then I ran out of road, so I would assume (by the rate it got there) indicated 180+ wouldn't have been that slow to achieve.
0-60 in 4.3 sounds very feasible, as Simontt here on the forum attained 3.9 with circa 450bhp (MRC Re-map and gutted standard exhaust) at VW International a while back. But depends on technique and how violent you want your starts.

Yep, there's the reality and then there are the specs. And something on specs... if you look at MTM's webpages, it gives out different info than your quote.
Not to mention, according to MTM spec, another of their upgrade (with higher HP&Torque) is slower to 60 (~62) mph than just the remap alone:)

With just the 420bhp chip the MTM website quotes 0 - 100kph in 4.1 seconds which equates to a sub (just) 4.0 seconds 0 - 60 mph time.
I had an MTM chip fitted after having an unknown remap on the car when I bought it which was giving suspected problems. I found the MTM upgrade very torquey across the range rather than the previous "bang" up the top end.

Thanks PaulF, for giving your comment on the MTM chip. Shouldn't go very wrong there. It's been on my 'to-do' list, once I get tired of standard .)
Aside from that, wonder if anyone would care share their experience between ~similar tunings, but by a different tuner (~like driven their friends' cars)? Is there any noticeable difference.
Just curious... and a bit bored at work!

When I bought my car, it had an AmD Chip. It too was quite on/off in it's power delivery and a tad inconsistent in the levels of torque. Not long after, I took it to MRC Tuning and they performed a Custom Re-map and it made a big difference to the AmD one. The car pulls stronger at lower revs and much more satisfying is the complete smoothness from the bottom to the top end of the rev range. It's lost it's switch on and go wild from about 3.5k revs. The car drives totally different now and it's for the better - love it!

I have a the stage 3 mtm conversion, already done when i purchased the car,i have had bigger brakes and coilovers, arb's etc put on since at another tuner's as i believe that sometimes you pay a premium for a company becoming well known and not neccesarily better.
Its easy to quote figures and for people just to believe them.
Mine at mtm's rolling rd did 469 bhp,in reality and unit 20 we reckon its approx 458bhp.
I did 0-60 in bad conditions last year at international in 4.12 with only 2 attempts but would hope to do better with a lighter interior
